Updates during the ride

I will have access to emails (assuming i get a phone signal) and will therefore be updating my blog on a daily basis for everyone to read. If all goes well, I will also publish the route I took and at the bottom of my blog will be my current position.

I can update people via several methods, these being:

Text messages
E-mail
or via the Blog

If you would like to receive texts or e-mails, please let me know via text or email before or during my ride.

I can also update via Facebook, but this is not preferred as I don't really use it that much.

Why the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust Charity

In February 2003 my twin boys Aiden and Liam were born 10 weeks premature. They were both just under 4lb each and needed to put into incubators for a number of weeks before they were allowed out into the real world!

A lot of the equipment is supplied by money raised by the public and if it wasn't for others, there would not have been enough equipment to cope that very bizarre night when they were born. The fund has been used to purchase essential equipments on the unit namely ventilators, incubators, blood gas machine, ultrasound machine to scan babies brain and heart, bilirubin machine to measure the level of jaundice, infusion pumps and new computer based cot side terminals with patients monitoring system. More details of the charity can be found at http://www.oliver-fisher.org/

Since then, Aiden and Liam have gone from strength to strength, below are some pictures of them in their full glory from years zero to Six.

What am I doing ?

Simple really. Cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats in 15 days. This equates to around 1000 miles depending on exact route
