Day 4 update

Good news for day 4 was it was the first day that didn't rain.
Had a few directional problems, our navigator seemed to have mounted the map upside down.
Phrases you don't want to hear after going down a big hill are things like 'there should'nt be a village here'.
Through the Cheddar Gorge, hills nowhere near as bad as before, mountain goats all over the cliff. Fantastic views.
Anyway, got into Bristol, over the Avonmouth bridge and through their beautiful housing estates.
Eventually found our way onto the old Severn bridge, so nearly into Wales. Then our navigator decided now was the best time to get a puncture. Fixed with a tad of swearing, then into Wales.
Where was our wekcome to wales sign? Would we get a greeting from our neighbours? Sure did, an underpass that looked like a glass recycling centre warehouse!
As i have puncture proof tyres, i got through ok, i think i may have push the tyre specification to the limit though.
Cycled onwards to Tintern Abbey, stopped for postcards and pictures, including the John Deere.
I seem to be collecting pictures of animals, steam trains and tractors. Boy, do i sound an interesting person.
Finally a great downhill ride to finish in time for tea and cakes.
