Apologies for not posting this one sooner, time got the better of me last night. So here is what I can remember from yesterday.

Not a good start for the day. Managed to loose my cycling gloves before I even started. Well, when I say lost them, they kind of went missing. Just had a conversation with a couple of old ladies and they were telling me all about their walking holiday. Then talked about catching a bus and train. When i confronted them with the facts that a walking holiday would normally lean towards the use of legs, my gloves were no longer anywhere to be seen. So, some old dear is now having the last laugh on me gardening with my gloves. I'm not bitter!
No rain today which was great news after yesterdays flash floods, shoes a little damp but nothing a hardened sailor boy like me couldn't cope with.
Off to get our pictures taken by the Massey Harris tractor and ready to rock and roll.
Trying to get a few pictures of different animals each day to brighten up my blog. Saw a Heron and a Kestral today, but you'll just have to do with the one bird I did manage to snap.

Had some lunch in a little tea room, no beer this lunchtime, so must be starting to take this somewhat serious!
Onwards and upwards. By the end of the day we finish at a Acton Bridge, not far from Warrington.
I can't believe how quick we have made progress, seemed like only yesterday we were still in Cornwall.
Still, near Manchester and no rain, the gods are looking down on us!
Funny really, we did 70 miles today and it was described as semi rest day!
Tomorrow, through the urban sprawl of the North West to contend with.
