Day 1. Lands end to Bodmin

Distance: 73.8 miles
Average speed: 11.14mph
Max. Speed: 35mph
Time in saddle: 6hr 37 min
Soreness rating of nether region: 2 out of 10

With a cold wind and spits of rain the group i was in set off at around 10.00am on the 1000 mile journey. A journey which is scneduled for 15 days of solid riding.
Decided early to take it easy as I have been warned by everyone that Cornwall is the worst part of the trip. You can meet some strange people on trips. Some guy seemed to have comprehensive understanding on every kind of public loo that is available worldwide. Very interesting indeed.
Stopped a couple of times for refeshments, but although their was a number of rolling hills, nothing seemed particularly difficult.
Warmed up, put my sunglasses on, took my jacket on, 2 minutes later it pissed it down!
Got to Bodmin feeling little tired, so decided that I should refuel my body with a curry and some beer.
Not sure what the weather will be like for day 2, but good an idea when I got a text from my brother advising me to get my flippers and goggles at the ready!
Thanks for following my trip.
